Me me me!

Clare Elsom is an illustrator based in the UK, working mainly in children's publishing.

Her most recent projects include the Flying Fergus series, written by Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy and Joanna Nadin, and Furry Friends, the new series from bestselling author Holly Webb.

Clare has illustrated dozens of other childrens titles, worked with CBeebies, illustrated weekly columns in the Independent, created animated e-books for Persil, and is the artist behind Judy Murray’s nationwide Set4Sport campaign. 

She studied a BA in Illustration at Falmouth University (lots of drawing) and later completed an MA in Children's Literature at Roehampton University (lots of writing). Besides freelancing in illustration, she also worked for five years as an Illustration Agent.

Clare currently spends her time doodling, tap-dancing and drinking cinnamon lattes in Exeter and London.
